Como una partitura musical viva, nuestra alma guarda todas las notas. De ella emergen todas las melodías posibles para contar la historia humana. La historia de las historias. La verdadera.Un tema enraizado en el corazón humano.

En este despliegue invisible; pasado, presente y futuro se entrelazan y se expresan a través de un lenguaje simbólico que se expande más allá de las palabras. Un lenguaje que se revela a través del cuerpo, del movimiento, de la presencia y del ritual.

En este laboratorio de Teatro Ritual Live Wire 5Rhythms exploraremos el yo como nuestro campo de trabajo.Soul Notes nace a través de los mapas de 5Rhythms y del Teatro Ritual Live Wire. En este laboratorio, Lorca Simons y Gina Espinosa facilitan el viaje, guiando conscientemente el delicado acto de coser esta co-creación colectiva, sosteniendo un espacio donde las historias individuales se tejen en un tapiz compartido.

Serán cinco días de investigación profunda.Cinco días de escucha del cuerpo, permitiendo que la poesía oculta en el gesto, el pulso y la respiración emerja.Un tiempo para mover aquello que quiere ser expresado, para dejar que nuestra danza revele lo que anhela tomar forma.

Y entonces, coser. Tejer. Entrelazar.

Dar forma a una muestra performativa donde cada cuerpo se convierte en una nota, cada presencia en una voz, y cada historia encuentra su lugar dentro de la composición colectiva.

Las técnicas presentadas estarán enraizadas en la práctica de 5Rhythms desarrollada por Gabrielle Roth y en su posterior desarrollo por Lorca Simons, Martha Peabody y el ala teatral Live Wire 5Rhythms. Este enfoque es aplicable a artistas y seres humanos de cualquier disciplina, e integrable fácilmente en su propio lenguaje creativo.

Desde la visión de Lorca y Gina, la creación artística es también un acto de sanación. La forma más elevada de sanar surge cuando somos capaces de hacer arte con lo que sentimos, cuando elegimos crear algo a partir de nuestra historia en lugar de cargarla en silencio. Cuando el dolor, la belleza, la memoria y el deseo se transforman en movimiento, imagen y ritual compartido.

Soul Notes nace de este amor compartido por crear y contar historias en escena a través del cuerpo, de la escucha profunda, de la presencia viva y de la acción ritual. Un regreso a los orígenes del teatro y la danza como espacios sagrados de transformación.

Like a living musical score, our soul holds all the notes.From it emerge all the possible melodies that tell the human story.The story of stories. The real one.A theme rooted in the human heart.

Within this invisible unfolding, past, present, and future intertwine and express themselves through a symbolic language that expands beyond words — a language revealed through the body, through movement, presence, and ritual.

In this 5Rhythms Live Wire Ritual Theatre laboratory, we will explore the self as our field of work.Soul Notes is born through the maps of 5Rhythms and Live Wire Ritual Theatre. In this lab, Lorca Simons and Gina Espinosa facilitate the journey, consciously guiding the delicate act of stitching this collective co-creation, holding a space where individual stories are woven into a shared tapestry.

These will be five days of deep research.Five days of listening to the body, allowing the poetry hidden in gesture, pulse, and breath to emerge.A time to move what wants to be expressed, to let the dance reveal what longs to take form.

And then, to stitch. To weave. To interlace.

To shape a performative showing where every body becomes a note, each presence a voice, and each story finds its place within the collective composition.

The techniques presented are rooted in the 5Rhythms practice developed by Gabrielle Roth and its further development by Lorca Simons, Martha Peabody, and the Live Wire 5Rhythms theatre wing. This approach is applicable to artists and human beings of all disciplines and can be easily integrated into each person’s creative language.

From Lorca and Gina’s vision, artistic creation is also an act of healing. The highest form of healing arises when we are able to make art out of what we feel — when we choose to create from our story instead of carrying it in silence. When pain, beauty, memory, and desire are transformed into movement, image, and shared ritual.

Soul Notes is born from a shared love for creating and telling stories on stage through the body, deep listening, living presence, and ritual action — a return to the origins of theatre and dance as sacred spaces of transformation.
